Kakimori, a shop tucked along a side street in eastern Tokyo's Kuramae neighborhood—just south of the famous Asakusa district, and a short walk from the Sumida River, is busy changing the way that people engage with the craft of writing. The store's calming and stylish environment invites relaxed wandering amid its shelves, which are brimming with an array of stationery-related products.
