    “We cannot reject them as not being rakyat.”
    Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has rejected Kedah MB Muhammad Sanusi’s “Tanah Melayu” remarks, saying Malaysia’s strength lies in embracing all citizens, regardless of their ancestral roots.
    He stressed that Malaysians from all communities who uphold the Federal Constitution and contribute to the country must be regarded as part of the nation.
